Questions

Where do San Antonio school districts post their bids?

Each district uses its own portal. Northside ISD, San Antonio ISD and Comal ISD use Bonfire, North East ISD uses an Ionwave eBid site, and Judson ISD uses Public Purchase. Register on each district's portal to get its notices.

Does registering make me an approved school district vendor?

No. North East ISD and San Antonio ISD both say registering only adds you to the bidder list. You become a vendor when you are awarded a contract.

When does a Texas school district have to bid a purchase?

Northside ISD explains that contracts over $50,000 in total within a year are put out for competition using a method allowed by state law. Smaller purchases and co-op contracts (like BuyBoard or TIPS) may not be posted at all.

Does BidLasso include school district bids?

Some, where the district's posting site allows automatic collection (for example, Boerne ISD). For districts on Bonfire and Ionwave, register directly on the district portal to get their notices.
